Day 10: Make Reindeer Food

Christmas Eve wouldn’t be complete without leaving something for Santa’s reindeer! Today’s activity is to mix up some magical reindeer food to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve.

✂️ What You’ll Need:

• Porridge oats

• Edible glitter or cake sprinkles (never use craft glitter, as it’s harmful to wildlife)

• A spoon for mixing

• Small bags, envelopes, or decorated pots to store the food

📝 Instructions:

1. Pour a handful of oats into a bowl.

2. Add a pinch of edible glitter or sprinkles to make it sparkle.

3. Mix well with a spoon.

4. Scoop the mixture into a small bag or envelope.

5. Label it “Reindeer Food” and decorate the packaging with drawings.

🌟 Extra Idea:

Add a little rhyme on the bag, such as:

“Sprinkle on the lawn at night,

The moon will make it sparkle bright,

As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam,

This will guide them to your home.”

Tomorrow you’ll need:

Paper plates, scissors, glue, green paper (or real leaves), red paper or pompoms, ribbon.
