Day 19: Hot Chocolate Treat

Winter evenings call for a warm, comforting drink. Today’s activity is to make a delicious hot chocolate with toppings. Children can help measure, stir, and decorate.

✂️ What You’ll Need:

  • Hot chocolate powder or cocoa

  • Milk (or water, depending on the mix)

  • Mugs

  • Marshmallows

  • Sprinkles or whipped cream (optional)

  • Spoons for stirring

📝 Instructions:

1. Warm the milk (adult help needed).

2. Stir in hot chocolate powder until smooth.

3. Pour into mugs.

4. Add marshmallows, sprinkles, or cream on top.

5. Enjoy together by the Christmas tree.

🌟 Extra Idea:

Make a “hot chocolate station” with jars of toppings and let children build their own.

Tomorrow you’ll need:

A simple Christmas carol book or printed lyrics, space to sing, optional jingle bells or tambourines.
