Day 8: Christmas Music and Dance
It’s time to turn up the volume and celebrate with festive tunes! Dancing to Christmas music is a fun way to get active while enjoying the magic of the season.
✂️ What You’ll Need:
Music player or speakers
A Christmas playlist (songs like Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, or Frosty the Snowman)
Space to move around safely
📝 Instructions:
1. Choose a few favourite Christmas songs.
2. Clear a space to dance without bumping into furniture.
3. Press play and let the fun begin! Encourage clapping, twirling, or marching to the beat.
4. Try musical statues – pause the music and freeze in a silly festive pose.
5. Finish with a big cheer and maybe even a conga line!
🌟 Extra Idea:
Create a short dance routine to one of the songs and perform it for family members.
Tomorrow you’ll need:
Paper jumper outline, colouring pencils, felt-tips, glue, sequins, fabric scraps.
