Day 9: Design a Christmas Jumper
Everyone loves a Christmas jumper – the brighter and sillier, the better! Today’s activity is to design your very own jumper on paper. Children can get creative with colours, patterns, and sparkly details.
✂️ What You’ll Need:
A paper outline of a jumper (draw or print one)
Crayons, felt-tips, or colouring pencils
Glue stick
Sequins, fabric scraps, or bits of ribbon for decoration
📝 Instructions:
1. Start with your jumper outline on paper.
2. Colour in bold festive patterns – stripes, spots, snowflakes, or reindeer.
3. Add extras like sequins, ribbons, or even cotton wool for a fluffy trim.
4. Write a slogan like “Ho Ho Ho!” or “Merry and Bright” if you wish.
5. Display your design proudly – maybe even vote for the silliest or sparkliest jumper!
🌟 Extra Idea:
Turn your favourite design into a real jumper using fabric pens on an old top.
Tomorrow you’ll need:
Porridge oats, edible glitter or sprinkles, small bags or envelopes, a spoon.
