The countdown to Christmas is nearly here!
From 1st December we’ll be sharing a daily festive activity for KS1 - KS2 children. Perfect for building excitement and making magical memories right up until Christmas Day.
Every day will bring something new: crafts, baking, science fun, kindness activities, and seasonal traditions.
You won’t want to miss it, so check back on the blog every morning in December for that day’s activity.
To make sure you’re ready, here’s the full list of items you’ll need across all 25 days. You might already have many at home, but this way you can gather everything in advance.

Craft Supplies
Paper (plain, coloured, card)
Scissors (child-safe if needed)
Glue stick & tape
Pens, pencils, crayons, felt-tips
Paints (poster or finger paints) & brushes
Glitter, sequins, stickers, foil
Ribbon, string, wool, or yarn
Pipe cleaners
Cardboard tubes (toilet roll/kitchen roll)
Wrapping paper (festive or plain for decorating)
Envelopes (for cards or kindness calendar
Hole punch (optional, for hanging crafts)
Festive Extras
Small treats, toys, or jokes (for crackers)
Christmas card blanks or folded card
Simple Christmas carol book or printed lyrics
Baking & Food Items
Ingredients for biscuits (flour, butter, sugar, egg, sprinkles)
Icing sugar & decorations
Hot chocolate powder or cocoa
Milk (or water for hot chocolate mix)
Marshmallows, sprinkles, whipped cream (optional toppings)
Science Fun
Ice cube tray
Small toys or beads (to freeze in ice)
Salt
Bowls, spoons, or droppers
Cosy Extras
Blankets, cushions
A short Christmas film (The Snowman is a lovely choice)
A copy of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas (or another Christmas Eve story)
Fairy lights (optional for bedtime storytime)
